Day 1-2
Sat-Sun

Saturday
Our journey started at 6 in the morning, which was quite early for some (aka Leonora Covero). Later on we stopped in Meckering for short toilet break which soon turned into an extremely long Geography lesson (thanks Miss Webster). We stopped in Tammin for a late brekky and later in Bodallin for Lunch where Leonora dropped her Fandangle and Nelson took a 50c phone call on the local town pay phone which lasted 30 seconds and cut Mum off (sorry Mum, I still love you). Many pranks were pulled, and many naps taken that ended quite abruptly due to multiple circumstances. We highly enjoyed Gwyneth’s k-pop dancing as well as anyone who was brave enough to sing. We finally arrived in Leonora (not Covero)  at the time of 20:30. After many bowls of 2 minute noodles and no flushing toilets we then went to sleep. And it was morning and evening the first day.

Sunday
We woke up to showers in the morning... Not rain. We took a refreshing walk up to a water tower... Not rain! We enjoyed an interesting sermon about Daniel and King Nebuchadnezzar... Who did reign! After the service Luritha and Olivia did braid! Mrs Swarts put on a lovely lunch and then we started work in the Recreational Center to set up for tomorrow’s programs, where Michael set up the sound systems. Luritha loved visiting the Ambulance (she’s alive ;)   ). We then had a quick break where Mitchell cooked up 9 gourmet delights (2 minute noodles). We then travelled back to the Rec center where we had dinner and went back to work for the program. In the process of painting penguins Gwyneth had a slight accident which resulted in Joshua’s once grey shirt becoming green. So far we have highly enjoyed our time in Leonora (not Covero) and are excited for the week to come.

Off for a walk to Tank Hill before church.

Hard at work setting up for the week's program.

Even some of the boys enjoyed having their hair braided- a new look!

More setting up.

And more braiding!

Almost ready.

See you tomorrow!
